The places of interest you are going to visit
on your half-day art, handicraft tour are: Tohpati
Village, where one can watch the process
of Batik clothing from the designing, waxing,
coloring and dying of the materials. The popular
batik known as batik tulis means "written"
batik. There are numerous of Batik Show-room
in this village, where one can find the genuine
batik. Passing through the village of Batubulan
with the home of sand-stone sculptor and the
Barong & Kris Dance performance, the tour
then proceed to visit a traditional Balinese
compound at Batubulan village, a visit to
Mas Village known as woodcarvings center. Ubud
village & vicinity to visit the famous
Puri Saren of Ubud and art gallery of painting.
Upon returning to the hotel, then continue to
visit the Silver smith village.

Your half-day tour this afternoon begains with
visiting the sacred and the historic temple
of ULUWATU,which is situated on the high
cliff of the southernmost of the island with
hundreds of friendly monkeys around the temple
location.After visiting this temple, your driver
will take you to a stage nearby to watch the
classical and the mystical performance of the
KECAK ( ketchack ) Dance that
is performed by a chorus of more than 50 men,
and sit in a 3 to a 5 concentric circles with
the flickering torch in the middle part, to
light up the stage.They shout the words chack-tchack-tchack.........
repeatedly, to accompany the performance that
depicts the episodes of Ramayana story. Your
dinner can be arranged on an open air beach
- side cafes nearby.( optional )
